Buddies for Children & Youth

A buddy provides one-on-one assistance in the classroom to a child with special needs by giving them encouragement and support so they can grow in their faith while fully participating in all activities.

Time required per week/month: One service/twice a month

Term of commitment:   Six months minimum

Qualifications: Patient, flexible, loving and teachable. Must fill out an application and complete a background check   Training provided: General special needs ministry training; provided by Valley Church. Individual training provided in the classroom as needed.
